pulmonary artery carries dioxiginated blood from heart to lungs.
Pulmonary vein carries oxygenated blood from lungs to heart.

The blood within your arteries is oxygenated. The exception to this rule is found in the pulmonary artery, which carry deoxygenated blood away from your heart to your lungs, where it will become oxygenated before returning to your heart through the pulmonary veins.
