The role of RBI in controlling the banking system of India are as followed :
1. It control the issue of notes.
2. It keeps eyes on bank, whether they are providing loans to the poor people or not, or they are providing loans to only rich businessman .
3. The RBI comes up with the monetry policy every quarter.
4. It control the money supply in the economy through various measures included the CRR , SLR and BANK RATE.
