Answer:

The Role of Soils

Soils serve as media for growth of all kinds of plants. Soils modify the atmosphere by emitting and absorbing gases (carbon dioxide, methane, water vapor, and the like) and dust.

Soil climate affects the production of crops.

Soil is an important abiotic factor that is responsible for the growth of plants. ... At a constant moisture content the soil temperature decreases that results in the decrease in nutrient and water uptake. At low temperature, the transport of nutrients and water gets reduced.

1.Soil:-

Soil plays an important part in vegetable production. The type of soil decides the type of vegetable to be grown. And if the soil is not fertile then not a single crop would yeild properly.

2.Climate:-

Talking about climate, it affects the condition of crop. If the vegetable is in the stage to be harvested and climate changes to be rainy then all the harvest time vegetables will die or will be attacked by weeds.

3.Agronomic Factors:-

Now disscusing about this , it is divided in thirteen sections like temprature, radiation, nutrition, etc.. This can also affect crops and vegetables. These factors can make the vegetable yeild very good or spoil completely.

For example: If the temprature is not proper in the area and the fertilisers are not limitedly used it can harm the vegetable by disturbing there ph balance and also making the inorganic to eat....
