Generally the state does not directly make curriculum but it put forth the policies for numerous sections.

The Central Government helps the states for educational development in following ways:  

1. Central Government makes educational functions through NCERT, UGC, Central Universities, central Schools organizations etc.

2. Central Government partially finances some programs, planned and executed by the State Governments.
