a. Education is the backbone of society and is the basis for growth , progress and development of any country. 

b Education provides for better job opportunities, employment to individuals.

c . Providing better education and training will develop more skilled and innovative workforce who can contribute in the growth of the economy

e Education requires active participation and involvement of the state government because firstly, education is in the concurrent list in which  both centre and state governments can make laws.

f. Implementation of education related schemes and policies require participation of state government.

g. State have to work towards enhancing quality of education, towards improving infrastructure in schools, in providing mid day meals , in bringing about high enrolment rates, in encouraging girl's education.

h. States also have to bring about participation of local NGO's community members in improving its literacy rate.

i. State governments also have to set up schools at the village level taking it to the grass root level.
