Students are the pillars of the society. They are the learners who will play the role of future doctors, engineers, teachers and other professionals. Students can definitely keep the environment clean and if they try can make a huge difference in stopping environmental pollution. As it is said that "charity begins at home", students can start their mission of keeping their surroundings clean right from their homes and schools. Not littering the floor, segregating biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes, not using plastic etc are certain things they should follow and also insist others to follow. When it comes to their locality they can volunteer services in their spare time like keeping their colony clean by throwing wastes in the garbage, creating more awareness among people who litter their surrounds, insisting people to plant trees in their surroundings etc.
