One of the chief causes for women's limited access to income and economic opportunities lies in their work being at the margin of major development efforts. Men dominate such assets and input as land, credit, technology and infrastructure. Lack of access to timely credit poses a big problem especially to rural women. The present study is aimed at a survey comprising of Type of the family, Occupational status of household members, Distribution of Sample by Marital Status, Age at marriage of married respondents, Type of marriage followed by married respondents, Nativity wise distribution of the average Monthly Income of the respondent, Nativity wise distribution of the thrift savings of the respondent, Age wise distribution of the average Monthly Income of the respondent, Age wise distribution of the thrift saving of the respondent and Educational wise distribution of the average Monthly Income of the respondent. The results revealed that above mentioned variables are crucial and critical for women empowerment.
