Answer:

Explanation:

Death comes as the End is a historical detective fiction by Agatha Christie.

The above novel was set in 2000 BC in Thebes. Through this novel the author has striked a perfect balance between crime and passion, jealously and hatred and as well as sibling rivalry.

Yahmose was the eldest son of a successful but short sighted mortuary priest Imhotep. He was very hard working but unambitious. He managed the estate in his father`s absence.

Yahmose whom everyone despised as the meekest of men, had actually been the one to kill Nofret and others in the novel. He disliked his own submissive role. The killing of Norfet gave him a great sense of power.

He wanted to be the ruler of the house and started plotting and murdering all the family members.

Hope this helps.
