Train 18 is being manufactured by Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and Railway Board Chairman Ashwani Lohani flagged off the train on 29th October (Monday), 2018 at Chennai. This is the first long-distance train without separate locomotive (engine). It will be the first self-propelled train for inter-city travel.
