Radius of circular frame is 84/11 cm  if an equilateral triangular frame of wire having area of cross-section 64√3cm² converted into circular frame.

Given :

Rolly has a equilateral triangular frame of wire having area of cross-section 64 √3cm².

She wanted to change this Frame into circular frame.

To Find : The radius of circular frame.

(A) 83/11 cm

(B) 84/11cm

(C) 85/11 cm

(D) 86/11 cm

Solution:

Area of an equilateral triangle =(√3 / 4) (side)²

(√3 / 4) (side)²  = 64√3

=>side² = 64 * 4

=> side = 8 * 2

=> side = 16 cm

Perimeter = 3 * 16 = 48 cm

Perimeter of circular frame = Circumference of the circle = 2π (radius)

Equate Perimeter

=> 2π (radius) = 48

=> π (radius) = 24

Using  π = 22/7

=>  ( 22 /7) * (radius)  = 24

=> (11/7) * (radius)  = 12

=> radius = 84/11  cm

the radius of circular frame is 84/11 cm

Correct option is B) 84/11 cm

Radius of circular frame is 84/11 cm  if an equilateral triangular frame of wire having area of cross-section 64√3cm² converted into circular frame.
