Perimeter of Roma's field :

Side = 40 m

Perimeter = 4a

 = 4 \times 40

 = 160 \: m

Therefore Roma need 160 m length of rope.

Perimeter of Monika 's field :

Perimeter = s+s+s

 = 50 + 50 + 50

 = 150 \: m

Therefore Monika needs 150 m length of rope.

Difference between their ropes :

160 - 150

 = 10 \: m

Therefore Roma needs more rope than Monika by 10 m.
