Solution:-

Roma should mix it. If the white substance is sugar, it will get dissolved, but if the white substance is chalk powder, then it will not get dissolved i.e it will not mixed properly.

So, She can find out the correct substance without tasting it in this way.

She can mix that powder in the water,,

If the powder get dissolved properly without any leaving substance then it's the sugar ...

If the powder didn't get dissolved in mixture then it is the chalk..

So, by this way she can conclude that..
