Answer:

Time = 60/40

=3/2 hrTime

Distance = speed × time

= 12 × 3/2

= 18 km

Time taken to reach school when she cycles at a speed of 30 km/hr = Distance by time

=18 / 30

=3/5 hr

3/5 hr = 60 × 3/5 = 36 min

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

distance = speed * time

40 minutes into hour = (40/60)

distance travelled by Romani = 12*(40/60)=8km

time taken to travel by cycle = 8/30

=4/15 hr=16min
