According to the question :

In one day they covered distance = 340 km

By unitry Method :

⇒Distance covered by them in 6 days

= 340× 6

= 2,040 km

After they decided to travel for 2 more days .

⇒ Distance covered by them two days

= 340× 2

= 680 km

Therefore ,Total distance covered by them during the entire journey

= Distance covered in 6 days + distance covered in 2 days

= 2040+ 680

= 2,720 km
