The distance between his home and railway station 110 km.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Ronak drives at 35 km per hour in 1st hour. He realises that he will be 1 hr late if he continues with this speed'

Ronak  realises that he will be 1 hr late if he continues with this speed'  he  and increases his speed by 15kmph for rest of journey and reaches 30 min early.

To Find:

The distance between his home and railway station.

Solution:

Let the distance between his home and railway station p km.

Let the distance covered by Ronak  in 1st hour  is q.

As given,Ronak drives at 35 km per hour in 1st hour.

Ronak speed in 1st hour =35km per hour.

The distance covered by Ronak  in 1st hour= speed \times time

                                                                        =35\times1= 35km

As given,Ronak  realises that he will be 1 hr late if he continues with this speed'  he  and increases his speed by 15kmph for rest of journey and reaches 30 min early.

Ronak speed in rest of journey =35+15 =50\ km\ per\ hour.

Rest  of journey distance = p-35 km.

Time taken to cover rest of distance  = 1hr+30min= 1.5\ hours

\frac{p-35}{50} -= \frac{3}{2}

p-35=75

p=110 \ km.

Thus,the distance between his home and railway station 110 km.
