Solution: According to the given question,

Number of stamps Rony has = 36

Number of stamps Zaheera has = $2\frac{1}{4}$ times as much as Rony has

i.e.,                                                = $2\frac{1}{4}$ × 36

Converting mixed fraction $2\frac{1}{4}$ to improper fraction ( $2\frac{1}{4}$ = $\frac{4 * 2 + 1}{4}$ = $\frac{9}{4}$ )

                                                     = $\frac{9}{4}$ × 36

                                                     = 81

Zaheera has 81 stamps with her.
