Roopa was feeling thirsty but there was only one pot of water available at
home which was muddy and unfit for drinking. How do you think Roopa
would have made this water fit for drinking if the following materials were
available to her? Alum,Tub, Muslin cloth, Gas stove,Thread, Pan and Lid.

she must poured the water in the tub while covering the tub with the muslin cloth. then she boiled the water in the gas stove which will remove the remaining impurities and roopa can drink it

roopa used alum to make the muddy and unfit water into a pure water. Alum makes the water clean as it kills all the germs contained in the water

Varooni: well thanks but alum sets the sediment faster so the decantation can happen faster
WarRobot: ok but i told the alternative method and it can more purify the water
Anonymous: yes varooni you are right about alum but alum has also a plus point that it also KILLS the dirt n germs
