cost of one candi =

10 \div 10 = 1

and sell 8 candy for 10rs

the cost of 1candy he sell=

10 \div 8 = 1.25

the cost of 10 candy he sell =

10 \times 1.25 = 12.5

profit =RS

12.5 - 10 = 2.5

percentage of profit=gain rs×100/10

2.5 \times 100 \div 10 = 25\%

The profit percent is 25%

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of 10 candies = Rs.10

Cost of 1 candy  = Rs.1

SP of 8 candies = Rs.10

SP of 1 candy = \frac{10}{8} = 1.25

So, SP > CP

So, Profit

Profit% =\frac{SP-CP}{CP} \times 100

Profit% =\frac{1.25-1}{1} \times 100 = 25\%

Hence The profit percent is 25%
