multipy and divide (root 1 + sin a by root 1 - sin a) by root 1 + sin a then you will get 1 + sin a by root 1 - sin square a then put 1 - sin square a =cos square a then cancel the root by square then you will get 1/cos a + sina/cosa and 1/cosa = sec a and sina/cosa =tan a . if you have any confusion comment.
