(√2 + √3 )^2

= 2 + 3 + 2√6.
= 5 + √24
= 5 + 4.9 √24 = 4.89
= 9.9

Using the formula
(a+b)²=a²+b² +2ab
(√2 + √3)²= √2² +√3² +2×√2×√3
= 2+3+2√6
=. 5+2√6
=. 5 + 2×2.4
=5 +4.8
=. 9.8
