hey

he given pair of equations are: √2x – √3y = 0…………

(i) √3x − √8y = 0…………

(ii) From equation

(i) x = √(3/2)y ……………..

(iii) Substituting this value in equation

(ii) we obtain √3x − √8y = 0 ⇒ √3(√(3/2)y) − √8y = 0 ⇒ (3/√2)y – √8y = 0 ⇒ 3y – 4y = 0 ⇒ y = 0 Now, substituting y in equation (iii) we obtain ⇒ x = 0 Thus, the value of x and y obtained are 0 and 0 respectively.Read more on Sarthaks.com - https://www.sarthaks.com/625460/solve-the-following-system-of-equations-2x-3y-0-3x-8y-0
