Do we have to differentiate in this ... If yes...then here is your answer....  d(x+1)/dx = [d(x+1)^1/2]/dx     = {1/2(x)^1/2-1} + d(1)/dx   =1/2(x)^-1/2...  If no then what we have to do in this.....
