Solution:

Given [(1+x)/169] = 14/13

On Squaring both sides of the equation, we get

=> [(1+x)/169]² = (14/13)²

=> (1+x)/169 = 196/169

Multiply both sides by 169 , we get

=> 1+x = 196

=> x = 196 - 1

=> x = 195

Therefore,

x = 195

Solution :

Given,

√(1 + x)/169 = 14/13

For solving this we have to squaring on both the sides.

On squaring both the sides :

=> √(1 + x)/169 = 14/13

=> √[(1 + x)/169]^2 = (14/13)^2

=> (1 + x)/169 = 196/169

=> (1 + x) = 196/169 × 169

169 is canceled on the both sides.

=> 1 + x = 196

=> x = 196 - 1

=> x = 195

.°. x = 195
