Answer:the cytoplasm of root hair would shrink in size leading to decrease in size of root hair.

Explanation:when nitrogen fertilizer is added to the soil, the concentration of soil around the root hair increases i.e,.it becomes a hypertonic solution , hence exosmosis takes place leading to plasmolysis of root hair cell. Hence there is shrinkage in size.
