Given area of square garden = 9 m²

To find the perimeter of square so that she can make a fence to protect her garden from the rabbits.

Area of a square = a² ( a = side of square )

=> a² = 9

Taking square roots on both sides we get,

=> a = √9 = 3

Hence side of square = 3 m.

Perimeter of square = 4 a

=> Perimeter = 4 * 3 = 12 m

Hence she needs to buy 12 m of mesh to make the enclosure.

Hope my answer helped !
