roshan builts in 20 days

but he leaves the work after 5 days and gives to ramesh who finishes in 12 days

therefore,in one day roshan does 1/20 of the work

for 5 days (1/20)*5=1/4 of the work

so ramesh finishes 3/4 of the work in 12 days

so in one day he finishes 3/4*12=1/16 of the work

=1/16*x=1 work

x=16 days he will take to complete the work
