Let the total money Roshan has = Rs. x
Money lost = Rs. 20% of x
                  = Rs.(20/100)x
Remainder = Rs. x - (20/100)x
                   = Rs.(80/100)x
Money Spent = Rs. 25% of (80/100)x
                      = Rs. (20/100)x
Total money left =Rs. (80/100)x - (20/100)x
                          = Rs. (60/100)x

According to question,
(60/100)x = 4800
x = 4800(100/60)
x = 8000

Therefore, Roshan originally had Rs. 8000

Answer:

He originally have Rs.8000

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the original money be x

He loses 20% of his money

So, he lost amount = 20\% x=\frac{20}{100}x=0.2x

Amount left = x-0.2x= 0.8x

Now he spent 25% of the remaining

He spent amount =25\% \times 0.8x = \frac{25}{100} \times 0.8 x=0.2 x

Remaining amount = 0.8x-0.2x= 0.6x

We are given that he has 4800 with him

So, 0.6x = 4800

x = \frac{4800}{0.6}

x = 8000

Hence he originally have Rs.8000
