to rotate is to energy to stop is to inertia. From the definition itself we know that inertia is a property by virtue of which a body continues to be in the state of rest or in state of motion. So over here whenever energy is supplied then the body starts to move that is a displacement is there and it is rotating where as whenever the body is stopped an inertia of rest is created.

Answer :

This question is based on analogy.

Cambridge English Dictionary defines 'analogy' as 'a comparison between things that have similar features, often used to help explain a principle or idea.'

Cambridge English Dictionary defines 'inertia' as 'the physical force that keeps something in the same position or moving in the same direction.'

So, the correct analogy is :

Rotate : energy :: stop : inertia
