Round 3,500 to the nearest thousand

If the rounding number is 5 or more it is rounded up. 3500, 3600, 3700, 3800 and 3900 round up to 4000. To round a number to the nearest thousand, the digit in hundreds place is considered. If > = 5, rounded up and if < 5 rounded down.
