Solution :-

We have to round off 4065 to nearest hundred.

The basic rule is to look at the next smallest place value, the digit to the right of the place value we are rounding to. Here, we are rounding to the nearest hundred, we would look at the tens place.

If the digit in the next smallest place value is less than five (0, 1, 2, 3 or 4), we have to leave the digit we want to round to as it is. Any digit after that number (including the next smallest place value we just looked at) become zeros.

If the next smallest place value is greater than or equal to five (5, 6, 7, 8 or 9), we increase the value of the digit we are rounding by one (+ 1). Just like before, any remaining digit become zeros.

4065 ⇒ 4100

So, when we round 4065 to the nearest hundred, it becomes 4100.
