Solution :-

given number is √1000 . so, first finding the square root of 1000 by long divison method we get,

To Find : Rounded to the nearest 10, which whole number is closest to √1000?

Solution:

√1000

= 10√10

as we have 10 in multiplication so if we round of √10 to nearest integer , we will get complete number  Rounded to the nearest 10c

its very clearly seen that 9 is much closer to 10  than  16

Taking square root

3 < √10  < 4

and 3 is closer to  √10 than 4

Hence 10 (3) = 30
