Hii Himanshu,

◆ Answer -

After two years, product of Roy's age and Iris's age is 48.

◆ Explanation -

Let R, E & I be Roy's, Erik's and Iris's age presently.

Presently,

R = 4 + E ...(1)

R = 2 + I ...(2)

After two years,

R + 2 = 2 (E + 2)

R + 2 = 2E + 4

R = 2E + 2

Putting this in (1),

2E + 2 = 4 + E

E = 2 years

Putting this in (1),

R = 4 + E

R = 4 + 2

R = 6 years

Putting this in (2),

R = 2 + I

6 = 2 + I

I = 4 years

To find product of Roy's and Iris's age after 2 years -

X = (R+2)(I+2)

X = (6+2) × (4+2)

X = 8 × 6

X = 48

Therefore, in 2 years roy's age multiplied by iris's age is 48 .

Thanks dear...
