Roy rears Randall and Jersey cattle breeds in the ratio of 6:5. I he has a total of 242 cattle on his farm how many Randall cattle and how many Jersey cattle does he have.

Let the common ratio be'x'

=> 6x, 5x

Sum of ratios= 11x

Now, According to the question

11x= 242

 =  > x =  \frac{242}{11}

=> x= 22

Now, 6x = 6×22= 132

➡️132 Randall cows were present

And,

5x= 5×22= 110

➡️110 Jersey cows were present
