Rs.1040 was to be divided among A, B and C in the ratio of 1/3:1/4:1/2, but by mistake it was divided in the ratio of 7:4:15. How much extra amount was re9ceived by C?

Answer:

actual share of C is 1/2*1040=520 but amount got by C is 1040/26*15

=40*15=600

so,extra amount received by C is rs 600-520=Rs80
