Rs. 3.50 to 75 paise to express the ratio in simplest form

rupees 3.50 = 3.50×100 = 350paise
75 paise
....
350/75 = 350:75

1 Rupee = 100 paise
Rs 3.50 = 3.50 × 100 paise
Rs 3.50 = 350 paise

Hence,

Ratio = 350 : 75
Ratio = 70 : 15
Ratio = 14 : 3

mansetachintan: Please reconsider. The correct ans is 14:3 as 60 paisa isn't equal to 1 rupee. 100 paisa is equal to 1 rupee
