= ₹3,500 - 50% (or half; 1/2) of ₹3,500
= ₹(50/100 × 3,500)
= ₹(0.50 × 3,500) = ₹1,750
2nd person
= remaining amount after 3rd person's share's deduction - 50% of what he has which will also be 1st person's share
= ₹(3,500 - 1,750) - ₹{50% of (3,500 - 1,750)}
= ₹ 1,750 - ₹ {50% of 1,750}
= ₹ 1,750 - ₹ {0.50 × 1,750}
= ₹ (1,750 - 875)
= ₹ 875
