Step-by-step explanation:

QUESTION :

Rs 750 amount to rs 900 in 2 years at SI . if the interest rate is doubled , by how much would it amount ?

GIVEN :

Principal (p) = Rs750

Principal (p) = Rs750Amount ( A) = Rs 900

Principal (p) = Rs750Amount ( A) = Rs 900Time taken ( T) = 2 years

TO FIND OUT :

Rate

simple Interest

Final amount

FORMULA USE HERE :

SI = Amount - principal

SI = (p×t×r)/100

SOLUTION :

let , the rate of it = x

according to question , rate became 2x

Than,

Si = A - p

= Rs 900 - 750

= Rs 150

Than,

according To formula,

SI = ( px t x r) /100

150 = ( 3000x) /100

15000 = 3000x

x = 15000/3000

x = 5 %
