To be found -

The cost of one apple

METHOD 1

60 apples = 85

1 apple = 85 ÷ 60 = Rs 1.41

METHOD 2

Let cost of one apple be Rs x

60 apples,

⇒ 60x = 85

⇒ x = 85 ÷ 60

⇒ x = 1.41

Hence,
