Answer:

Let principle = 100 ,T=4 year, R= 25%

SI = = 100, amount = 100+100= 200

For 200 amount, principle is 100.

For 8800 amount, principle =?

Principle = 100/200 *(8800) = Rs. 4400

Ans : Rs. 4400

Answer:

The amount at the end of 7 years is 13248.

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the question,

principal = 8800

amount= principal + simple interest= 12000

time= 4 years

rate of interest =?

formula used:

simple interest=(principal* rate of interest* time)/100

12000-8800= (8800* r* 4)/100

3200= 88*4*r

800=88*r

r= 800/88

rate of interest=800/88

now the new rate of interest is 3% more, so we add 3% on the previous rate of interest we get this,

(800/88) + 3= 1064/88( new rate of interest)

now amount at the end of 7 years be

simple interest=(principal* rate of interest* time)/100

using the new rate of interest here,

simple interest= 8800*7*1064/(88*100)

simple interest= 7448

now amount = principal + simple interest

= 8800+ 7448

=13248

The amount at the end of 7 years is 13248.
