Answer:Rubber band is solid. It is not important that a solid cannot change shape. The only thing important is that their molecules should be closely packed. On applying force a solid may change its shape as in case of rubber band. But as soon as the force is removed, it comes back to its original shape. Rubber bands are solid because they their molecules are close to one another and perfectly sets in the definition of solids.

Answer:

RUBBERBAND IS NOT A SOLID!!!!!!!!!! IT IS A SUPER COOLED LIQUID!!!!!!!

Eexplain :

rubberband is as you know made of rubber and rubber is made of latex and latex is a liquid, te latex is basically supercooled and thus acquires some propeties of solid but it is a partial conversion of state of matter so as it can streach, it is considered a liquid which justifies the question.

so thus, rubberband is solid as well as liquid .
