Since, the diameter of the circular pond = 20 meter,

⇒ Radius of the pond = 20/2 = 10 meter.

Thus, the area of the pond,

A=π×(10)^2

 \frac{22}{7}  \times 100

 \frac{2200}{7}

 = 314 square \: meter

Hence, The approximate area of the given circular pond is 314 square meter.

hope it helps you

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

          d = 20 metees

       r = d/2

    therefore

         r=20/2

        r=10 metres

   Area of circular pond = \pir^{2}

                                          = 22/7 x 100

                                          = 2200/7

                                         =  314.2 m^{2}
