or x/2 = y (i)

z = x-7 (ii)

Their total age = x+y+z = 38 years (iii)

x+x/2+x-7 = 38

or 5x/2 = 38+7

or x = 45÷5/2 = 18 years

Hence age of Ruhengis, Raj and Khairul are 18 years, 18/2 = 9 years and 18-7 = 11 years
