To change the active voice into passive voice-

i) Exchange the position of subject and object.

ii) Verb will be used in its V3 form, But the Tense of the sentence should not me changed.

¡¡¡) Use 'by' before the subject ( that is in the place of object)

For example:

Active voice - I like you.

Passive voice- You are liked by me.

Passive voice format in:

Simple Present - object+ is/am/are +V3 + by+sub.

Simple Past - object + was/were+V3 +by +subject

Simple Future- obj. + will/shall +be+ V3+by+ subject

Present continuous- obj.+is/am/are+being+V3+by+sub.

Past continuous- obj. + was/were+ being+V3+by+sub

Future continuous- No change

Present Perfect- Obj+ has/have + been+V3+by+sub

Past Perfect- obj+ had + been+ V3 + by+ subject

Future Perfect- obj+will/shall+have been+V3+sub

No change in Perfect Continuous Tenses.

Hope this helped you..

Answer:

The formula of active voice is a common structure of a sentence; it should consist of subject, verb and object. If we want to change the structure into passive voice, we should change some of the elements in the sentence. The formula both of the voices are shown below: Active voice. S + V + O + adjective/adverb.

Passive voice

S + to be + VIII + by + O + Adjective/adverb
