RULES OF INTEGERS-
1. SUM OF TWO NEGATIVE INTEGERS IS ALWAYS NEGATIVE INTEGERS
EXAMPLE: -1 + -2 = -3 ( NEGATIVE NUMBER)
2. SUM OF TWO POSITIVE INTEGERS IS ALWAYS POSITIVE INTEGERS
EXAMPLE: 2+2= 4 (POSITIVE NUMBER)

The following rules
Both Positive
Add their absolute values and assign a positive ( + ) sign to the sum
- + + + = +
Both Negative
Add their absolute values and assign a negative ( - ) sign to the sum
- - + - = -
One Positive and One Negative
Find the difference the absolute values of the integers and assign the sign of the integer having a greater absolute value.
- + + - = +
- + + - = -
