present tense:-
1. present indefinite rule:-
•to express general universal truths
e.g- Man is mortal.
• to express an action which is true at present
e.g- she teaches English in a school
2. present continuous rule:-
• To express an action in progress but not necessarily at the time of speaking
e.g- They are building a new house
• to express some undesirable habit.
e.g- He is always wasting his time in gossips.
3. present perfect rule:-
• to express a recently completed action
e.g- He has gone to the market.
• to express present state of a completed action
e.g- He has just left for school.
3. present perfect continuous rule:-
• to express an action which began sometime in past and is still continuing
e.g- how long have you been watching t.v?
• to express an action which is already finished but whose effect still persists
e.g- He is shivering because he has been bathing for an hour.
I am getting tired to write this so I do not write past and future rule.
sorry!
