Ruminants stomach have four compartments - the Rumen, the Reticulum, the Omasum and the Abomasum so that they can easily breakdown the cellulose but humans aren't able to do so.

Ruminants can digest cellulose whereas non-ruminants like humans cannot because ruminants have developed stomach. It has four chambers. To digest the cellulose thousands of microbes and bacterias are present. With the help of these bacterias, the cellulose is digested.
