we have epiglottis which divides our alementary canal and breathing canal. if we start eating fast then there is a chance of entering the food into our breathing canal which makes us irritable and feels hard in our lungs. but this does happen to ruminants because they have pouches like structure where they store the food which they eat hurryily.

hope this helps you my frnd ✌️✌️
