Hi friend,

Following are the advantages and disadvantages of running water;

Advantages:

  1. Running water is used to produce electricity. This is the reason why dams are created, to keep the water running.
  2. Running was is advantageous as it also a source of thermal conductivity.

Disadvantages:

  1. Continuous flow of running water if not contained or managed, can cause flood which is a form of disasters that bring chaos and destruction among them.
  2. It can cause deforestation as the force of running water is enough to destroy week plants and over water trees that require less water.

I hope the answer is satisfactory. Thanks
