in first case,
p=7000
t=10 yrs
a=9800
si=a-p
=9800-7000
=2800
si=prt/100
=2800=7000×r×10/100
=2800=700r
r=2800/700
=4%
in second case,
p=7000
r=4%
t=5yrs
si=prt/100
=7000×4×5/100
=1400
a=p+si
=7000+1400
=8400
