Ruskin bond stories usually end in suspence... for example in a short stories like daffodils case... bond is writing encounter with Sherlock Holmes... the story starts with bond commissioned by the BBC to write a documentary on village of India...Bond was ambling through Baker's street thinking what he know and didn't.. preoccupied he reached regent's park where he met the fictional character of Sir author Conan Doyle...Holmes first tested bond's intelligence by asking him question about.. as Watson was late according to Holmes, he took help of Bond and caught the lady thief accompanied with a small little pomeranian...after that Holmes asked bond to bring the park attentdant..but when Bond cames Holmes wasn't there anymore... Bond found the way out of the park and on the opposite side of road..in a light house he saw Holmes shouting Watson.. Bond tried to cross the road but a red bus came infront of his sight... when the bus went away...there was no Holmes neither the light house light was lit up,thus coming to an end of Bond encounter with Sherlock Holmes...
